The Waggon and Horses is a village pub nestled in the small village of Hawkshaw. For over 150 years it has been the focal point of the community as well as a destination pub for people wanting to enjoy good food and an extensive selection of drinks in a warm and friendly environment. Whether you have been walking the dog and fancy a quick pint and lunch or maybe looking for somewhere to spend a special evening with family and friends, then you will be most welcome.
THE WAGGON & HORSES
This Bury pub isn't cheap, but it's worth the price for pudding alone.
The Waggon and Horses is a solid mix of gastro pub meets pub grub.
And while its country pub allure may be outdone by others that offer an open fire and more rustic trappings, it’s largely free of grating pretensions, with a cosy feel for winter days when a warming array of hearty food is what’s required.
The scrumptious puddings are a particular highlight.
